Join your peers to coalesce around interoperability practices that are efficient, cost-effective, and shared industry wide. While FDA’s recent announcement that it intends to delay the final traceability rule for 30 months allows companies more time to achieve compliance, enhanced traceability for FTL foods will still be required. This provides PFT members adequate time to design traceability systems that achieve compliance and provide an interoperable and optimized approach to traceability.
In addition, successful traceability systems provide value beyond compliance, gaining internal insights about products and supply chains and generating savings through streamlined processes.
The FDA announcement notes FDA’s intent to use this additional time for compliance to continue participating in cross-sector dialogue – exactly what we are doing at PFT!
