Partnership for Food Traceability

A non-profit partnership advancing a shared industry-wide vision for enhanced food traceability.

FSMA 204 Pilot Program

The Partnership for Food Protection Pilot Committee is launching three pilots that allows the food industry to test their FSMA 204 Traceability readiness and get feedback from peers and PFT members:

  1. Lot code flexibilities in achieving FSMA 204 compliance.
  2. Data population of an Electronic Sortable Spreadsheet.
  3. Interoperable data exchange.

Please watch this video to learn more about PFT, these pilots, and how to participate!  Participation is open to PFT members and non-members alike!  Let’s Pilot Together!

ABOUT US

The Partnership for Food Traceability (PFT) is an independent, sector-neutral nonprofit developing a shared, overarching vision for food traceability across the supply chain. PFT’s membership includes industry members, trade associations, and technology vendors from all sectors and industries of the food supply chain with support from FDA, State, and local food officials.

2026 PFT-FDA Town Halls

PFT and FDA will host two town halls on Food Traceability Rule implementation efforts in 2026. The town halls will provide a forum for FDA to hear from stakeholders and better understand the challenges, as well as identify and discuss potential solutions and flexibilities for satisfying the rule’s lot-level tracking requirements.
